Carl Lofthouse

Founder & Senior Electrician

After completing his apprenticeship at Didcot Power Station. Carl established Newbury Electrical Services, where he still maintains a ‘hands on role’ as well as providing direction and mentoring to the team.

Toby Littlechild

Electrical Estimator

With 20 years experience in the electrical field. Toby is now responsible for surveying, estimating and quotations at Newbury Electrical Services.

Ryan Locke

Senior Electrician

With a father who is also an electrician, Ryan literally has a lifetime’s experience in our work. Since qualifying in 2016 Ryan provides services for both commercial and home customers, specialising in installations.

Ben Weaver

Electrician

A keen cyclist and a recently a father for the first time, Ben has been with Newbury Electrical Services since 2022. Ben’s journey to becoming an electrician started as a farmhand in Australia, working on fencing and solar panels, before returning in 2016 to get his certifications.

Jack Hooper

Electrician

Our most recent member of the team, Jack has many years’ experience from his time at AWE and Scottish & Southern Electricity (SSE). With 18th Edition and 2391 qualifications under his belt, Jack provides testing and installation services to customers.

Bradley Lucien

Electrician

A highly knowledgeable electrician with 19 years’ experience, Bradley is another member of our team who has followed in their father’s footsteps. Bradley provides a full range of electrical services for customers.

Patrick ‘Paddy’ Pearce

Electrician

An electrician for more than 10 years, Patrick ‘Paddy’ joined Newbury Electrical Services in 2022. Paddy spends most of his free time with his two children, turning out for his local football side, and following Arsenal.

Chris Welland

Apprentice

Chris joined Newbury Electrical Services as an apprentice, and will achieve his 18th Edition qualification this year following 3 year’s of hard work.

Our most recent apprentice recruit, Charles is studying for his 18th Edition while learning his craft with the rest of the Newbury Electrical Services team.

Yuna

Yuna is a Border Collie who moonlights as an electrician’s mate and can often be found travelling shotgun with Carl.

Gin

Gin is the Newbury Electrical Services office cat, and quietest member of the team. She doesn’t like being alone and find a comfy seat in the office whenever her owner is out.
